Get the Facts About Issue 29
Over the next few weeks leading up to the November 6 election, Mayor Tom Kneeland, City staff and Council will be hosting a series of community conversations to answer resident questions about Issue 29.

The Gahanna Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the next town hall meeting on Tuesday, October 23 from 6:30 pm - 8 pm in the auditorium of Gahanna Lincoln High School, 140 S. Hamilton Rd. The event is free and open to the public. Networking will take place at 6:00 pm and the meeting will begin at 6:30 pm.

The next town hall meeting will take place on Thursday, October 25 at 6 pm at Gahanna Middle School West, 350 Stygler Rd.

Planning & Development Updates
Currently, the Planning & Development Department has 17 active projects. Once completed, approximately 507 jobs will be created or retained and the projects will yield $113 million in capital investments. 
For 2018, 11 projects have been completed. These projects are estimated to create or retain 325 jobs and yield $34 million in capital investments.

Creepside Returns Saturday, October 27
Join us for the 15th annual Creepside Festival at Creekside Plaza on Saturday, October 27 from 11 am - 3 pm.

Presented by Schneider Insurance, this FREE community event will feature live music, games, activities, a haunted trail, and trick-or-treat with more than 60 organizations passing out candy.

Medication Disposal Drop-off
On Saturday, October 27 from 10 am -2 pm SWACO will be hosting a pharmaceutical drug-take back day at the Gahanna Kroger location, 300 S. Hamilton Rd.

Kroger will be accepting unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter dry pills, liquid medicines, aerosols, needles, creams, and patches.

Gahanna's Beggars Night
Beggars Night or Trick-or-Treat for Gahanna is scheduled for Wednesday, October 31 from 6 - 8 pm . This is a rain or shine event. Parents are encouraged to use their best judgment in sending children outside in the event of inclement weather.
Veterans Day Ceremony
Join us in honoring our veterans at the annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Sunday, November 11 at 11 am. The ceremony will take place at Veterans Memorial Park, 73 W. Johnstown Rd. Meet and thank Gahanna's veterans for their continued service to our country.

Holiday Day Lights Celebration
Mark your calendars now for Visit Gahanna's annual Holiday Lights Celebration on Sunday, November 18 from 3 - 6:30 pm.

This year's event will take place at Creekside and will feature a reindeer petting zoo, pony and camel rides, ice carvings, inflatable bounce houses, holiday story times, the annual tree lighting and most importantly Santa!
