It is Friday and if you are a real estate agent, you should be thanking the heavens above for a market shift like the one we are experiencing as we speak.
During the last major shift of the late 2000's was when I seized the moment with what I now call the Market Share Expansion Strategy.
But, basically to gain market share during a market expansion, your business must expand at a faster pace than the overall local market.
However, in a retracting market, even if you just hold the line in your business, you will gain market share.
If you can hold the line and even increase productivity during a market retraction, your business will explode like an atomic bomb when the market rebounds.
And, guess what...100% of the time, the market rebounds.
So, we know it's coming.
