Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce and Toledo Area Small Business Association (TASBA) Support Toledo Public Schools Levy Renewals

The boards of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Toledo Area Small Business Association (TASBA) recently voted to support two property tax renewals for Toledo Public Schools (TPS).

Renewal of both its 5.80-mill, 5-year general operating/ improvements levy, and its 5-year operating expense levy calculated at 6.5 mills will appear on the November 7th ballot for Toledo voters.

The Newly Reduced Ohio Employer Withholding Tables Have Been Published

The Ohio Department of Taxation has issued a tax alert to advise employers of new employer withholding tables to be used for payrolls that end on or after November 1, 2023. The new tables include the income tax rate reductions that went into effect when House Bill 33 (135th General Assembly) was signed into law on July 4, 2023.
