We’re excited to announce a virtual Homebuyer Workshop on March 19 from 7–8 PM for the ReCoverCA Homebuyer Assistance Program supporting 2017 and 2018 wildfire recovery areas. This workshop is designed for prospective homebuyers to learn how the program works, what the eligibility requirements are, and how much assistance they may qualify for.

Please encourage your clients, potential applicants and community partners to attend. Eligible households may be able to receive up to $350,000 in homebuyer assistance for down payment and closing costs to help them purchase a home in areas safer from wildfire.

• Residents who were renters or homeowners residing in a High or Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone during the wildfires of 2017 & 2018.
• Wildfire recovery agencies and organizations.

• Residential service providers.
• Fire departments.
• Members of the media.
