Managed care is a complex field of study that encompasses concepts of risk, insurance, benefits, formulary, supply chain, and compliance. In keeping with our efforts to advance the healthcare field and to fill a void in traditional pharmacist training we created the Ventegra Managed Care Fellowship (VMCF).
VMCF is a competitive, one-year program designed to offer fellows access to professional development that will prepare them for work in a variety of organizations including pharmacy benefit management, health plans, self-insured payors, vertically integrated health systems, government, and pharmaceutical industries.
