Unifying Clinical Communication

Secure messaging point solutions have failed to provide value to care team members. They were widely adopted to become HIPAA compliant, but have low user adoption as they created user and technology silos which do not help clinicians connect in the way they require.

  • Pager Network: Send messages directly to dedicated pagers to support emergency situations and allow for physicians to gradually transition away from pager devices.
  • Lab Information System: Convey critical labs for a patient directly to the care team in a safe manner that includes the escalation of unread or un-actioned messages.
  • Nurse Call System: Route nurse calls to a bedside nurse or unit clerk (escalate as needed) and call a patient back through the nurse call system to clarify the nature of certain requests.
  • Patient Monitoring Devices: Send specific alerts and alarms to the care team from patient alarming middleware (EKG, SP02, Ventilators).
