From the Chief Executive
It continues to be a busy year, and our recent AGM gave us an opportunity to look back and reflect on the highlights from the last year and the progress we’ve made. We have a lot to celebrate and we were delighted to be joined by staff, service users and carers on the evening. You can re-watch our highlights in this video.
Other highlights since our last newsletter was marking the 1st birthday of the Maternity Trauma and Loss Care service and making progress against the Green plan with the introduction of kitchen gardens in the Trust. We also celebrated the diversity of our staff throughout Pride, South Asian Heritage month and Windrush day, plus many more highlights below.
As a Trust we are working more closely than ever with our partners regionally and nationally. Most recently, we hosted the national Urgent Community Response team at Clayponds hospital; sharing learning on how we are seeing more patients at home within 2 hours, avoiding unnecessary trips into hospital.
On a personal level I am proud to be leading the agenda to tackle long standing health inequalities in NW London to improve health in the most disadvantaged communities in our boroughs. An article on this was published in the Health Service Journal recently.
We hope you enjoy this month's newsletter.
