UW Real Estate Club Hosted by
Seattle Alums during Spring Trip

The UW Real Estate Club traveled to Seattle, Washington at the beginning of March to tour some of the 65 major construction projects in progress there. Social Media Ambassador, Emmet Gaffney (BBA 2018), has written a post on the new " WREAA Network Blog" and put together a video compilation with details of the trip. Many thanks to Seattle Alums Greg Van Patten (BBA '93), Tom Craig (MS '94), Dan Lessor (MBA '10), Matt Simo (BBA '04), Brad Lange (MS '90) and Lisa Hagen (BBA '05) for their help in developing the itinerary and for the warm welcome.

UW Real Estate Students Compete in Canada
In early March, a team of four UW Real Estate BBA's traveled to Toronto to compete in the 2017 Expand Your Empire Ryerson Real Estate Development Competition. Hard work paid off for the team and they placed second to the University of Guelph, who had home advantage. Along with the second-place finish, the team also received the Most Innovative Proposal Award. Congratulations to the team, Ou Chung, Nick Martin, Beau Vande Walle and Ryan Watt!
