There's certainly a lot going on at the parish as we prepare for school to reopen next month, but I would like to share with you some recent developments from this past week. My apologies that this didn't come out earlier.
Governor Tim Walz sent out a mandate this past Wednesday that all "Minnesotans must wear a face covering in indoor businesses and indoor public settings..." Archbishop Hebda responded to this by asking parishes to also abide by this mandate in service of public health and the common good.
Moving forward, parishioners and visitors who would like to attend Mass at Presentation are required to wear a face covering or mask during Mass, until further notice. Exceptions to this are: children 2 years of age and younger, those with certain respiratory conditions for whom wearing a mask poses a greater health risk than not wearing one, the priest-celebrant, cantor and lector.
Please be prepared to have a face covering or mask to wear when you come to Mass. If you find yourself without one, please ask an usher at the door to help you. Please note that the parish supplies are limited, so if you are able to bring and use your own mask, this would be ideal.

Protocols for Mass
Please continue to pray for an end to this pandemic, healing and peace in our world.
Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us!
