Movie Night at Nishmat Am
Thursday December 12 at 7:30 PM
"The Golden Age
of Second Avenue"
Second Avenue in New York was the home of the Yiddish Theater experience that brought joy, tears and laughter to the struggling Jewish immigrants of the Lower East Side.
You won't want to miss this beauty of a documentary film that takes us back to the art form that shaped Jewish culture in the twentieth century. Featuring Herschel Bernardi and clips from stage performances of great Yiddish actors. Yiddish dialogue is with sub-titles.
