New Message Series.... "DIFFERENT" (I Peter)
In this world, you'll have struggles. You'll face opposition. You'll be challenged. And there's a reason for that; this world is not your home. So answer hate with love, find joy in the midst of trials, and rely on a strength beyond yourself. You're meant to be......Different.

Missionaries of the Month | Your Faith Promise $$ at Work
Ryan & Heather Reissner have served with Forest Springs Ministries since 2008. For the past twelve years they have served at Forest Springs’ youth camp and family camp facility in Westboro, WI. In September of 2020 they transferred to Forest Springs’ adult retreat facility, Oak Forest Center in Frederic, WI. The Center hosts women’s retreats, men’s retreats, college ministry retreats, church leadership retreats, etc. Oak Forest Center also provides quiet retreats to those who serve in full time ministry at no charge. The heart behind the ministry at Oak Forest Center is to bring the gospel message to all guests through words and service, and to provide renewal and refreshment to those who are serving on the front line of ministry. Ryan serves as Oak Forest Center’s director and Heather manages the Guest Services department. They have two grown children, Zoe and Maia. Zoe graduated in December of 2020 from UW-LaCrosse. Maia is in her sophomore year at UW-Eau Claire.
Life 97.3 Christian Radio is again sponsoring the “Northland’s Largest Baby Shower”, encouraging listeners to support a local non-profit agency that supports local families. Hayward Wesleyan is the “drop-off” spot for the Hayward community to bring in typical (new) baby shower items during the month of January, which will be donated to the Northwoods New Life Resource Center. A bin is provided in our foyer.
