PUZZLES, PIE AND POTATO SOUP Friday, February 15, 6:00-9:00 p.m.  Cost: $5-Adults, $3-Kids under 12, $15-Family Come out and beat the winter blues! Teams of 4 people can sign up for the puzzle competition - or sign up individually and we will put teams together. The first team to complete a 300-piece puzzle wins (usually takes under an hour). Other games will be available for people who don't want to do a puzzle. And of course, there will be POTATO SOUP and PIE!! Donations of pies are needed. This is a family friendly event, and a great opportunity for some fun and fellowship. Invite a friend! Email here if you want to sign up to attend and/or bring a pie. SIMON'S SURPLUS (food distribution) This Saturday, January 26, 10-11:30 am (doors open at 9:30 am). $26 for a Whole Share and $13 for a half share. NORTHLAND'S LARGEST BABY SHOWER Life 97.3 Radio Station is encouraging their listeners to donate typical baby shower items to a local non-profit that supports area families. In the Hayward community, the Northwoods New Life Resource Center is the recipient of donations for our area, and Hayward Wesleyan Church is a drop-off location. Read more about it here (includes list of needed items), and drop off any donated items at the church by January 31.
