Wow! What impressive support for the Wetherill Nature Preserve (WNP) call for donations. THANK YOU neighbors and friends of WNP! We’re off to a great start in addressing our depleted maintenance budget and raising money for the much-needed Special Projects fund to help remediate sections of WNP. As a reminder, the WNP Commission kicked off a capital campaign event in August 2024--the first community event ever to raise needed funds for long-term restoration special projects in the Preserve.

With gifts from donors in Hunts Point, Yarrow Point, Clyde Hill, and Medina, we have raised $41,450 for our Special Projects Fund with a goal of $100,000. Also, we are still short $15,000 to meet our 2024-2025 general maintenance needs. If you have not yet had a chance to contribute to the WNP’s Annual Fund please consider making a donation now.

Did you donate a total of $500 or more to the Wetherill Nature Preserve during this 2024-25 fundraising campaign? If so, thank you! A Wetherill Nature Preserve canvas tote bag is ready for you to pick up at Yarrow Point Town Hall.

Donating is easy
