(1854-1929) American Detroit based inventor, entrepreneur and founder of the Buick Motor Company, creating one of the most successful names in automotive history.  This is 1912 issuance of 20 shares of Stock in Buick Oil Company to the investment group of Nieuw Nederlandsch Tustees, signed by David D. Buick.

Ferdinand Porsche

(1875 - 1951) was an automotive engineer and founder of the Porsche car company AND Volkswagen. He is best known for creating the first gasoline electric hybrid vehicle, the Volkswagen Beetle. He also designed the 1923 Benz Tropfenwagen, the first rare car with a mid-engine, ear-wheel drive layout.  These pages are signed by ALL 3 Porsche family members that controlled and built the business: Founder Ferdinand Porsche, Ferdinand Anton Ernst Porsche Jr, 1909- 1998, mainly known as Ferry Porsche, an Austrian technical automobile designer and entrepreneur, and operating manager of Porsche AG in Germany, and Ferdinand Alexander Porsche.

Henry Ford

(1863 - 1947) American industrialist, founder of the Ford Motor Company and credited with developing the modern assembly line technique of mass production and revolutionized transportation and American industry.   His introduction to the Model T automobile revolutionized transportation and industry, opening the door for Ford to become one of the richest and best known people in the world. At the Edison illuminating Company he developed the Ford Quadricycle. Encouraged by Edison, he designed and built a second vehicle, then left and founded the Detroit Automobile Company. Later in his career, Henry Ford partnered with Thomas Edison and Harvey Firestone to create the Edison Botanic Research Corp. Ford was awarded 161 U.S. Patents.  This is a hand written letter by Henry Ford dated 1939 accepting a "Covert Automobile" (1901 -  1907) by James Melton in 1939. This particular car was donated by James Melton to "The Edison Institute", which was the first name Henry Ford gave to what would become the spectacular and extensive Ford Museum in Detroit, which still has The Edison Wing.

Walter O. Bentley

(1888-1971) English engineer who designed engines for cars and aircrafts, raced cars and motorcycles, and founded Bentley Motors Limited.  One of his Bentley race cars, the Bentley 3 Litre, won at Le Mans in 1924, 1927, 1928, 1929 and 1930, with the team managed to W. O. himself. Bugatti is quoted as saying "W. O. Bentley made the fastest lorries in the world".  Here is a scarce signature by the famous entrepreneur.

John Z. DeLorean

(1925-2005) was an American engineer and executive in the U.S. automobile industry, working at General Motors until he branched out on his own and founded the DeLorean Motor Company. Hi unique master design was envisioned by Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, and distinctively used stainless steel. It featured gull-wing doors and sleek lines, and was quite famously featured in the movie, Back to the Future, and its sequels. Here is a very rare John Z. De Lorean signed check dated 12/16/81 in the amount of $25.00.

Charles Rolls (1877 - 1910) and Sir Henry Royce (1863 - 1933), o riginal signatures by car  company founders of the renowned English car manufacturing company, considered the epitome of class and elegance. In 1884, Henry Royce started an electrical mechanical business, making his first car, the Royce 10. He soon met Charles Rolls, proprietor of a motor car dealership. The first Rolls Royce debuted in Paris in December of 1904, and the company became one of the symbols of success around the world.

Karl Benz

(1844 - 1929) was the German engine designer and car engineer generally regarded as the inventor of the first automobile powreedby internal combustion entine. In 1879 his first engine patent was granted and in 1886, Benz was granted a patent for his first automobile.  He went on to merge with Gottlieb Daimler in forming the Mercedes Benz corporation.

one of the most famous business people in the world, a passionate advocate of U. S. exports, known for his revival of the Chrysler Corporation. President and CEO OF Chrysler from 1978 - 1992. He was honored with The Portfolio Award as the 18th greatest American CEO of all time. Here is a letter on The Statue of Liberty Ellis Island Foundation letterhead by Lee Iacocca as Chairman of the Centennial Commission for the restoration of America's symbol of Freedom, with original Cummings photo of the interior of Liberty before restoration, list of details with famous Emma Lazarus poem "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses....I lift my lamp beside the golden door"; official commendation with stamped signatures by Lee Iacocca as Chairman and Gerald Ford as Honorary Chairman, and signed photo by Lee Iacocca.

Bullitt won an Academy Award,  the 1969 Edgar Award, and was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress. It is such a tremendous film and one he will always be remembered for.

1976 American vigilante film-noir, psychological thriller, directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert DeNiro and Jodie Foster.  This movie is rated as one of the greatest films of all time, nominated for four Academy Awards, winning the Palme d'Or at the 1976 Cannes Film Festival, and ranked by the American Film Institute as the 52nd Greatest American Films.
