Thanksgiving is a time that gently redirects us back to what matters most: being together. In the midst of full schedules, growing responsibilities, and a world that often moves faster than we’d like, this season invites us to pause and take note of the people who fill our days with meaning. Whether gathered around a table for two or a table for twenty, Thanksgiving reminds us that community is one of our greatest sources of strength.
It’s in these shared moments, big and small, that we find gratitude. Gratitude for the people we've shared memories with, for the experiences we've had and for the hope of what's to come. Gratitude by definition is, "the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness". Gratitude is not meant to be carried along or held tight to our chest, it is meant to be expressed. I highly encourage you to show off your attitude of gratitude this Thanksgiving!
As we transition from this season of thankfulness into the final stretch of the year, Thanksgiving also offers us a chance to reset. It encourages us to breathe, take stock of where we’ve been, and refocus our intentions for where we’re heading. The year’s end is just ahead, and with it comes the opportunity to finish strong. May this season refill your spirit, strengthen your sense of togetherness, and inspire a meaningful close to the year.
Tomorrow, I invite you to raise a glass with me and cheers to gathering, resetting, and stepping boldly into all that’s yet to come.
