Brockton - Mosaics: Magnificent Millefiori Mirror Sat & Sun Oct 3 - 4, 10a - 4p. Due to the Covid-19 crisis, payment for all workshops will only be accepted online. Classes are held in person, in our studios. 2-day workshop. Design “jewelry for your walls” by creating a mosaic around your mirror. You’ll create intricate and simple patterns using the richness of millefiori and glass. The possibilities are boundless, you can create a retro look by using checkerboard or diamond patterns or a Renaissance effect by using lots of gold and jewels. This workshop was inspired by the work of mosaic artist Laurel Skye. No grouting is necessary! Instructor: Amy Marks. All supplies provided. Open to students at all levels. Easton - Outdoor Adventures in Nature: Nature Hike and Crafts Fri, Oct 10, 10a. Join NRT staff for an hour-long outdoor class at the Sheep Pasture property. Take place in NRT's second nature hike and crafts class where participants will learn about the important works of environmental British artist Andy Goldsworthy! Be inspired by his nature art and create your own using differently colored and shaped objects at Sheep Pasture!
The class is open to children ages 3 and up, as well as adults. Individuals or families are welcome!

Hingham - Afternoon Adventures at WWF Fridays @ 3p. Do you have an elementary schooler eager for some outdoor learning time? Afternoon Adventures at Weir River Farm may be the outing that meets your needs. This program is particularly suitable for students part of educational learning “pods” or home school groups. Students in grades 1 – 5 are encouraged to participate in one or more sessions. Each interactive, hands-on session lasts 1.5 hours and occurs entirely outside. Total group sizes are limited to 11 (including adults). A minimum one adult chaperone per registering group is required. Cloth face-coverings/masks required. Each week the Afternoon Adventures program will have a different theme, with the programs Tuesday-Friday of that week. So, select the theme you’re interested in or bring your students multiple weeks in a row to experience all that Weir River Farm has to offer!

Halifax - Halifax Fall Cleanup Day "Social Distanced" Sat, Oct 3rd, 10a – 12p, Halifax Town Hall. Halifax Needs You! During a time when it's hard to come together with family and friends, let alone as a community, Halifax Fall Clean-Up Day has had a makeover. This October 3, 2020, we're asking you to come together as a community from home. We're inviting you to reach out to your neighbors and close family to mobilize small groups of litter busters across Halifax. Clean up the curbs in front of your homes. Take a stroll up the road and pick up trash along those abandoned stretches that never get enough attention. You can even volunteer to help clean up public spaces around town. We will be identifying the badly littered areas in Halifax and assigning volunteers to give those areas some special attention. The Halifax Beautification Committee will be in the parking lot of the Town Hall 10a - 12p, handing out kits that may include trash bags, safety vests, T-shirts, reusable shopping bags and gloves. Volunteers are welcome to drive up to our table and collect a kit before embarking on a day of cleaning up their community.
Hanson - Family Farm Day at Channell Homestead Sun, Oct 4, 1 - 4p. Come and snuggle baby animals and feed our other critters on the farm. Pony rides will be offered for an additional $5 per ride (Can be paid for at the event via cash or Venmo). We have horses, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and a goose! You are welcome to bring snacks to feed the animals! Carrots and cut apples are welcome to bring to feed horses and goats. 
The rabbits love lettuce and carrots, The chickens, ducks, turkeys, and geese love any scraps mentioned above especially bread items! We will also have goat feed cups available purchase. 
Masks are required ages 3 and up.

West Bridgewater - Car Show Fundraiser Sun, Oct 3rd, 10a. Welcome to the Berwick Boys Rolling Car Show! We have the all clear to have a “rolling” event. This means at no point can a driver or passenger get out of their vehicle. We will have an extended cue line to collect donations. There is no set price for registration as this is a very untraditional event. Drivers will enter our main gate, travel through our lot and meet a staff member. We will collect your donation, number your car and ask if you are interested in our raffle baskets or 50/50. Once we’ve taken your information we will send you down the line to receive a grab bag and have your picture taken in front of a Halloween themed back drop. YES THERE ARE TROPHIES! The number of trophies and categories are TBD. Judges won’t have the option to peak under the hood but trust us, we will have fair and accurate judges. They will be dressed alike and the driver will be able to communicate with them briefly. Trophy and raffle winners will be notified via the information we collect in cue line. DRIVERS MUST WEAR A MASK WHEN INTERACTING WITH STAFF. The event will go live on Facebook. Raffle and 50/50 winners will be drawn live as well.
