Saturday, June 8, 2019 during our 9:30 am Shabbat service

On May 13, 1939, more than 900 Jews fled Germany aboard the S.S. St. Louis. Turned away both from Havana and, by the F.D.R. administration, from U.S. shores - they were forced to return to Europe. Over 250 of those aboard were murdered by the Nazis.
