An Update from the CMS Building Committee
Dear Cromwell Community Members,

Last week you joined us at the current middle school to learn about plans for a proposed, future school.

We provided tours of the building with images at each tour stop showcasing the possibilities for a proposed new school. Teachers throughout the building shared the current obstacles they face in an aging facility, while also providing information about what they could give students in a modern facility with ample electricity, right-sized classrooms, and modern technology.

Jane Sarnowski, current CMS teacher, district parent, and long-time Cromwell resident spoke at the event. During her remarks she noted how the auditorium the audience is sitting in today looks exactly the same as when she attended the school as a student herself.

“Now is the time for Cromwell to truly place students first and provide our kids a building where they can engage in 21st century learning, in a safe building where all students are included,” Jane asserted. “Our teachers make it work but we know we could be providing even more for our students.”
