Dr. Alexandria Young, LCSW, PMH-C
Dr. Alexandria Young, LCSW, PMH-C, is a social worker, educator, and founder of Golden Hour Counseling Co., a practice centering trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care. She also serves on the board of the Doula Alliance of AR, supporting advocacy and collaboration within perinatal care spaces.
Alexandria holds a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) with a focus on social work education. Her work centers on perinatal mental health, reproductive justice, and equity-centered interdisciplinary training. She is passionate about bridging the gap between research and real-world practice while supporting providers in delivering more responsive and affirming care across systems.
Through her clinical, educational, and advocacy work, she supports individuals and professionals navigating stress, burnout, identity shifts, and the often unseen emotional labor of caregiving and helping professions.
