Hello Winnequah Families,
It’s so hard to believe we are already into March. As we look ahead to this month, we are looking forward to having you all in the building for Parent/Teacher conferences. We value the partnerships between home and school so much and are ready to share progress about your child with you. We have finished up our winter district assessments of iReady and Fastbridge and those results will be shared soon if they haven’t already.
There are many fun events planned for March, including district wide Strings Fest for our 4th and 5th graders, Rock Your Socks Day on March 21, and Hootie Huddle activities on Friday, March 15. Our 3rd and 4th graders will be having their vocal music concerts this month. We are also excited to be partnering with the Monona Public Library and WFSO to be bringing the musical group, Handphibians, to Winnequah for a performance before Spring Break. And finally, we have all started to read our All School Read, Odder, in our homerooms. All this fun is sure to make another month go quickly as we approach Spring Break at the end of the month.
We are looking forward to warmer days ahead to move some of our fun to outdoor activities as well.
I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break!!
In Appreciation,
Angie Fassl
