Knitting 4 Peace.
If you would like to make these for children please click on the link below. Free patterns are available for these, blankets, hats, baby blankets, mittens, shawls, sleeping mats, finger puppets, etc. They can be knit or crocheted.
The organization has delivered items over 212,000 items since its founding in 2006 to people living across the US and 84 countries around the world.
You can download patterns, learn more about the organization, how to identify unknown yarn weights in your stash to use, and so much more great information. They also collect quilted and woven items.
We can collect and ship the pals, but not the larger items because of our small limited space. Don't let that stop you! There is an address in the link in Denver, where you can ship.

Repeating Needlepoint Patterns
with Sarah

The pillow below is an example of creating needlepoint by counting a pattern and repeating the pattern until it is the size you want. Sarah will demystify the process and help you create a unique piece using many stash threads.
You decide if you want to make a pillow, headband, coaster, eyeglass case, purse or camera strap.

New Jersey Bag Rules
NJ residents are aware of the new rules; but we have many out-of-state customers, so here is our philosophy:
We have always tried to support eco-responsible operations in the shop. We use bags made from recycled paper.
Please help us by putting small purchases in your project bag or purse. Bring a bag with you.
If you need a paper bag, we will be charging ten cents per bag. We are hoping the small fee will help raise awareness, remind you to bring a bag and defray ever-rising costs of our bags.

Air Purifier Installed
We are pleased to announce 100% of our staff has received their vaccinations and boosters; great effort team!
In an effort to continue to protect our staff and customers, and provide an inviting space, an air purifier has been installed in our shop. It is quiet but powerful. It cleans and exchanges the air in the shop twice an hour. Most importantly, it traps particles in its medical-grade HEPA filter,
with its impressive 99.6% removal rate
with each air pass.
