Here’s how canal development will change landscape of Phoenix
Canal-oriented development is a tricky thing. In the past few years, our firm has had two rezoning projects approved along the northern bank of the Arizona Grand Canal in the City of Phoenix between Central Avenue and 7th Avenue. The first of those two projects, Aura Uptown at the southeast corner of 3rd Avenue and Coolidge Street, is a multi-family residential project with open space areas and amenities (both public and private) oriented toward the canal. More recently, the City approved Forty600 in October of this year – a seven-story mixed use development with both live/work units and a first-of-its-kind restaurant space with its front door facing the canal.

Valley View Investors sells 118 acres in Pinal County for $2,750,000
Valley View Investors, Inc. has sold a 118-acre residential development property at the southeast corner of Herseth Road and Arizona Farms Road in Florence, Arizona for $2,750,000. The site was acquired by Contadino 2021 Irrevocable Trust, and both parties were represented in the sale by Kidder Mathews Senior Vice President Brian Rosella.

Dominium buys 28-acre Glendale farm for $11 million
The Harry and Anna Morocomb 28-acre farm located at the Northwest corner of 67th Avenue and Maryland in Glendale has been sold to multifamily developer Dominium. The Farm has been in the Morocomb family for over 60 years. The purchase price for the property was $11,000,000.
