Women of Grace Television on EWTN
Journeying Through Christ’s Passion
With Dr. Edward Sri

Our guest for this Women of Grace series tells us that every detail in the Scriptural accounts of Christ’s passion is deliberate and intentional, power-packed with a meaning comprehensible to the Jewish people of the time that blew them away with its symbolism, reference, and religious impact.

And these details, the meanings once discovered, can have the same stunning effect on each one of us. In this Women of Grace series, we will walk the passion with Jesus, discover these details, their import and meaning, so as to enter more deeply into the greatest gift ever given – the gift of the saving act of Jesus Christ. Today is Part 1 of Journeying Through Christ’s Passion with guest, Dr. Edward Sri.

Passion of Christ
“Jesus prayed, preached and gave us the example of how we should live. But is that all He did to save the world? No, He saved it primarily by
His Passion and Death.”

-Emil Neubert, SM, STD

Today’s Reflection:

Jesus, Master of a Woman’s Heart
by Susan Brinkmann
In Jesus’ time on earth, the prevailing male attitude toward women was patronizing and condescending at best. Unlike most of His contemporaries, however, Jesus did not devalue women or shun them in public; quite the opposite. To discern this, we need only consult Sacred Scripture.
Mary’s Evangelization Plan
In his book,  Queen of Militants , Father Emil Neubert teaches Christian militants that no attempt to spread the message of salvation to a soul should be attempted without prayer. But once we’ve done so, he lays out a plan on how to evangelize like Christ in a way that only Mary can teach us.

The “Monica” Method: How to Evangelize Your Loved One
The next two days mark the feasts of two great saints of the Church, a mother and a son, whose lives give testimony to a sure-fire method of evangelizing those we love.
