Judge blocks Biden from rolling back Title 42

A federal judge in Louisiana on Friday temporarily stopped the Biden administration from ending Title 42, the Trump-era border management policy that allowed officials to quickly expel foreign nationals at the border under pandemic conditions.

The policy was due to end Monday as part of the Biden administration’s efforts to restructure border and immigration policy after the Trump administration’s overhaul of the system.

U.S. District Court Robert Summerhays granted a nationwide preliminary injunction to a group of GOP state attorneys general challenging the policy change. Summerhays, who was appointed by former President Trump, ruled that the Biden administration cannot roll back the policy while the broader legal challenge plays out in court.

“The Court agrees with the Plaintiff States that a nation-wide injunction is necessary for complete relief given the ability of immigrants crossing the border to move freely from one state to another,” the judge wrote in his 47-page decision. “A preliminary injunction limited to the Plaintiff States will likely do nothing more than shift border crossings from the Plaintiff States to states not covered by the preliminary injunction.”

Summerhays ruled that the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) improperly circumvented a process to allow for public input before issuing an order to terminate the program.

Turns Out Afghanistan’s Fate is a Game-Changer - Part I by Allyson Christy, Columnist at USN

Conclusion

Similar to the 2011 U.S. troop pullout from Iraq and the power vacuum

it created, instability continues to lurk behind the Taliban takeover. Destabilization expedites corruption and ethnic and sectarian conflict; it exacerbates humanitarian crises; distresses the economy; and urges unrest and more violence. Government collapse follows with the failure of public service infrastructures. Civil upheaval that divided Iraq opened a path for ISIS and a foothold for Iran.

Afghanistan’s fate may be no different as it is plagued with dissidence and hostilities, drought and poverty, and vast numbers of people are displaced and homeless. Thousands fled the country last year, and time will tell whether Pakistan and Iran will bear the brunt with the highest numbers recorded from the previous year. Both continue guarding their borders as a

humanitarian catastrophe continues to wreak havoc. Desperate attempts to flee Afghanistan are met with treacherous journeys and cycles of abuse and deportations. Recorded beatings

have recently appeared on social media sites, prompting sensitive exchanges between Kabul and Tehran.

The global community will invariably continue to deal with the suffering left unsettled by the Americans and Europeans withdrawing missions from Afghanistan. The added task of resettling and acclimatizing even more refugees comes amid tense immigration policies and well-known worries over vetting, radicals, and unsecure borders. Evidence will continue to emerge of rejected intelligence—earlier reports citing concerns for violence, Taliban resurgence, and the likelihood of collapse and civil war, and that there was no clear plan to protect Afghans who worked for the U.S. government. As Biden quickly pointed blame and sidestepped

direct questions last summer, the disaster highlighted a weak administration.

U.S departure from Afghanistan rocks a foundation of trust, emphasizing power vacuums and political uncertainties. Iran recognizes the impending scenarios, while violent extremists

are known to rally over vulnerable gaps in “weak and failed states.” The Taliban understands that control wavers between hostile rivalries and divided loyalties and the irregularities that are associated with its brutal suppression of human rights. Meanwhile, Beijing is cautiously assessing events as they continue to unfold in a hostile and nuclear-capable region.

Grandpa and the Missing Infant Formula

But take a moment and ponder the utter ridiculousness of this entire catastrophe. Here we are, supposedly a great nation, perhaps the most powerful on the globe, and we can’t produce enough “Milk-Based Powder with Iron” to feed our infants. Meanwhile, some company is giving the product away, in my case landing it squarely in the lap of a 71-year-old guy who doesn’t even own a baby bottle. This stuff should be heading directly to a pharmacy or a grocery store. Has American capitalism gone nuts?

Remembering the Late Ottoman Genocides

The essay engages with a series of historical events known as the “Late Ottoman Genocides” (1894 – 1924) which include the Armenian, Greek, and Assyrian Genocides. The areas of engagement include a contextual overview of the Late Ottoman Genocides, its causation, and its consequences. Additionally, the essay utilizes the Genocide Convention (CPPCG) and genocide theory as analytical tools to develop the claim that such events constitute as acts of genocide, despite continuous denial from its perpetrators. ...

Nadler in Fight for Survival, Scrambling to React to Massive Court Decision

After New York state Democrats tried to gerrymander their way into one-party dominance with cheating so flagrant even a Democrat-dominated court couldn’t stomach it, new congressional districts in the Empire State are pitting longtime party “titans” against each other in battles for survival. And Jerry Nadler could find himself out of a job.

Under new congressional district lines released by a special master on Monday, Nadler — the powerful, porcine chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, elected to Congress in 1992 — found himself moved out of the safety of his old seat and thrust into fighting a primary in a new district already represented by a Democrat who’s been in Congress as long as he has.

GOP Congressman Exposes How Formula Bill Does 'Nothing to Put More Formula on the Shelves'

Republican Rep. Timothy Burchett of Tennessee slammed the Infant Formula Supplemental Appropriations Act, saying it does more to expand bureaucracy than address the ongoing baby formula shortage.

The bill, alongside the Access to Baby Formula Act, passed the House on Wednesday with the stated goal of helping ensure families have access to critical nutrition for their infants as baby formula products disappear from shelves nationwide.

“I voted for the bipartisan Access to Baby Formula Act because it gives the USDA flexibility to address emergencies and supply chain disruptions,” Burchett said in a Thursday news release from his office.

Red Alert: Breaking Dem Legislation Could End Gun Sales to All Current Firearm Owners Forever, Require DOJ License

Do you want Merrick Garland to decide if you’re eligible to own a gun every time you acquire a new firearm?

Senate Democrats are pushing gun control in the run-up to the midterms, in the form of a bill introduced on Thursday.

They’re using the Buffalo mass shooting as a political tool, even though the gunman easily bypassed New York’s gun control laws to attack unarmed grocery shoppers.

Democratic Sens. Cory Booker, Richard Blumenthal and Bob Menendez are introducing the Federal Firearms Licensing Act, according to Politico.

The law would fundamentally revise gun ownership from a right enjoyed by American citizens to a privilege bestowed by the government at its own discretion.

14 states had 'significant miscounts' in '20 census

For the 2020 census, all states were not counted equally well for population numbers used to allocate political representation and federal funding over the next decade, according to a U.S. Census Bureau report released Thursday.

A follow-up survey the bureau conducted to measure the national tally's accuracy found significant net undercount rates in six states: Arkansas (5.04%), Florida (3.48%), Illinois (1.97%), Mississippi (4.11%), Tennessee (4.78%) and Texas (1.92%).

It also uncovered significant net overcount rates in eight states — Delaware (5.45%), Hawaii (6.79%), Massachusetts (2.24%), Minnesota (3.84%), New York (3.44%), Ohio (1.49%), Rhode Island (5.05%) and Utah (2.59%).

Oklahoma Legislature Passes Bill Banning Abortion from Moment of Fertilization

The Oklahoma legislature approved a law on Thursday that would ban almost all abortions from the moment of fertilization, sending the bill to Republican governor Kevin Stitt to sign.

The law, which constitutes the most sweeping pro-life legislation passed by any state, allows anyone to sue a doctor or other person who “aids or abets” an abortion from the moment of fertilization for up to $10,000. While modeled on Texas’s ban on abortions upon detection of a fetal heartbeat, the Oklahoma law would ban almost all abortions, with exceptions for cases of rape or incest.

The bill would go into effect immediately upon receiving the governor’s signature.

The proposed law is among several similar restrictions on abortion that Oklahoma’s government has already approved.

So the IRS destroyed filing data from 30 million of you to clear some of their backlog

I felt a disturbance in the Force; it was as if thousands of accountants let out a collective scream as the Internal Revenue Service destroyed the filing data for 30 million filers (without recording it first), because it would have been difficult to enter all the information taxpayers had submitted on paper instead of e-filing.

According to a report, the IRS torched the filing data in March 2021 to clear the backlog created by shutting down during the pandemic.

The data that was destroyed seems to be paper-filed information returns that businesses are required to submit, which covers taxable activities like W-2 forms. If the copy that is sent to the taxpayer does not match the one sent to the IRS, it creates a mismatch, and the IRS starts sending out automated notices that you're in trouble.

Covid Truths: Tools of Indoctrination

With each confrontation with carefully documented evidence, the media “fact-checkers” countered with the charge of “misinformation”, and an unfounded “conspiracy theory” charge that was, in their lexicon, “debunked”. Never were we told who the fact-checkers were or the source of their “debunking” information—we were just to believe the “fact-checkers”. A recent court case established under oath that Facebook “fact-checkers” used their own staff opinion and not real experts to check “facts”. When sources are in fact revealed they are invariably the corrupt CDC, WHO or Anthony Fauci or just their opinion.

Here is a list of things that were labelled as “myths” and “misinformation” that were later proven to be true.

How a Network of Retired Lawmakers Boosts CCP Influence in Washington

As Beltway institutions cut ties with Chinese Communist Party front groups, a group of former congressmen has kept a close relationship with a think tank that oversees Beijing’s foreign influence efforts.

The Association of Former Members of Congress, a networking hub for former lawmakers, has hosted multiple events since 2020 for the China-United States Exchange Foundation, the CCP’s leading foreign influence think tank.

The Exchange Foundation sponsors the association’s annual awards gala, which will be held next month, and it has worked hand-in-glove with the Exchange Foundation’s lobbyist to host policy events where pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong have been blamed on "foreign forces" and the United States has been accused of directing "vitriol" toward China.

"It’s really murky and pretty gross," said Dylan Hedtler–Gaudette, government affairs manager at the Project on Government Oversight, a nonpartisan transparency group. Hedtler-Gaudette says the overlapping ties between Capitol Counsel, the Exchange Foundation, and the Association of Former Members of Congress constitute a "shadow lobbying operation."

Elon Musk Reportedly Exposed Himself to a Flight Attendant and Paid for Her Silence

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk exposed himself to and propositioned a flight attendant on a private flight in 2016, according to new documents obtained by Insider. The allegation was settled in 2018 after the flight attendant reported the incident to SpaceX and received $250,000 as part of a severance agreement, which also included “restrictive non-disclosure and non-disparagement clauses.”

Per Insider’s report, the flight attendant was giving Musk a massage in a private cabin of his corporate jet, when he exposed his erect penis to her, rubbed her leg without her consent, and offered to buy her a horse in exchange for an “erotic massage” and other sexual favors. Musk reportedly offered her the horse because he knew the flight attendant rides horses. And she still turned him down!

Prior to the incident, shortly after being hired by SpaceX, the flight attendant had been encouraged by the company to get training and a license as a masseuse on her own dime; according to a friend, the flight attendant had confided in, the company “implied that she would get to fly more often if she were to do this because she’d be able to give Elon proper massages,” since “Elon likes massages,” the friend told Insider.

State Department Ices Out Military Spouses

The State Department is making it more difficult for federal employees who travel overseas with their military spouses to keep their jobs.

Sens. Marsha Blackburn (R., Tenn.) and Maggie Hassan (D., N.H.) say a recent change to the State Department's employment policies make it difficult—if not impossible—for federal workers who accompany their military spouse overseas to maintain their jobs while abroad. The change also affects the federally employed spouses of government workers assigned to overseas posts.

Blackburn and Hassan are investigating the State Department over the policy shift, which was issued in a little-noticed change to the agency's employment guidelines. It is unclear why the State Department tightened restrictions on those trying to work overseas, particularly in light of the coronavirus pandemic, which massively affected the State Department's workforce.

The lawmakers allege the Biden administration is essentially denying "all telework requests for federal employees assigned to or near military installations." They wrote to Secretary of State Antony Blinken requesting the State Department provide a host of documents related to the policy change.

Corruption of the WHO is the Biggest Threat to the World’s Public Health of Our Time

The IHR was adopted by 194 member states of the WHO in 2005. In January 2022, the United States Department of Health and Human Services proposed amendments to the IHR. These proposed IHR amendments are directed toward establishing a globalist architecture of worldwide health surveillance, reporting, and management. Consistent with a top-down view of governance, the public will not have opportunities to provide input or criticism concerning the amendments.

This is a direct violation of the basic tenets of democracy and can be compared to the separate new WHO pandemic treaty.

The Letdown That Is Women’s Lib

A career feminist looks back on her life and acknowledges that perhaps women’s liberation isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Kassandra Jones is a woman in her late 20s who recently finished her master’s degree at New York University. That degree didn’t come cheap. According to the New York Post, Jones sold all of her eggs in order to get money for her schooling.

These fertility donations raked in a total of $48,000 to put toward Jones’s loans but “barely made a dent in her overall debt.” Although angry at how much higher education costs, Jones seems to think that there was nothing else she could do if she wanted to be successful in life.

Seasoned feminist Susan Shapiro might have advised Jones otherwise about making that choice. In a recent Tablet Magazine article, Shapiro contrasts the life of her mother—a classic Boomer housewife—with the women’s liberation path she chose for herself. Based on Shapiro’s reflections, one sees that women’s liberation and the success it is supposed to bring is a kind of trick. Instead of delivering on its promises, it often brings longing, regret, and emptiness.

As a teen, Shapiro raged against the “division of labor [she] viewed as sexist” in her home. Her father was the breadwinner, her mother the helper who cleaned the house, cooked the meals, and cared for the children.

Shapiro started down the path of a career woman, eventually becoming an author and professor. Pretty much everything about her life was a complete contrast from that of her mother’s life. Her mother married young, she married late. Her mother had four children, she had none. Her mother delighted in caring for her family; she didn’t want a family … or did she?

The Original Meaning of “Necessary” in the Necessary and Proper Clause

“The Congress shall have Power… To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.”

On the surface, it seems straightforward. Simply put, Congress possesses the means “necessary” to carry out its powers authorized by the Constitution itself.

But what constitutes “necessary?”

The question may seem semantic, but Randy E. Barnett writes in his paper “The Original Meaning Of The Necessary And Proper Clause” that the definition of the term was not only debated in the early years of the Republic, but it had enormous implications for congressional power and how to interpret other parts of the Constitution.

The first and best place to start to answer this question are of course the Philadelphia Convention as well as the state ratifying conventions.

Most significant about its addition to the Constitution wasn’t what was said about it in Philadelphia, but what was not said. Barnett writes that the clause was added “without any previous discussion by the Constitutional Convention. Nor was it the subject of any debate from its initial proposal to the Convention’s final adoption of the Constitution.”

Both Parties Offer Phony Cures for Inflation

The American two-party political system exists to ensure that for any problem that emerges, there are at least two solutions that are just plain wrong. That is the sad case with inflation, where the most notable responses span the spectrum from useless to harmful.

Start with the harmful proposals, which involve trying to dictate what sellers can charge for their wares. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has introduced a bill to outlaw excessive prices "during all abnormal market disruptions." Among her targets are oil companies and meat suppliers, which she vilifies for "reporting record profits and using inflation as cover to pad their bottom line." On Thursday, House Democrats approved a bill giving the president the power to ban "unconscionably excessive" prices for gasoline and home fuel.

It should come as no surprise that when the world price of oil soars, as it has this year, corporations that own, produce and sell it make more money than when prices are not rising. Just two years ago, oil companies sustained record losses when the pandemic caused sales to plummet.

Meat prices have also climbed, which is what you would expect given recent market conditions. During the pandemic, ranchers reduced the size of their beef cattle herds. But consumer demand for beef has risen. Tyson Foods CEO Donnie King is stating a simple fact when he says, "Customer demand continues to outpace our ability to supply product."

Poetry and Modern Culture

True poetry can only edify those who seek edification. In a culture succumbing to the narcissism of Pride, people seek self-gratification, not edification. In such a culture, the works of the poets will be enjoyed by only a few noble souls in the cultural desert which T.S. Eliot correctly called the Waste Land.

In the strict sense, true poetry can only edify those who seek edification. In a culture succumbing to the narcissism of Pride, people seek self-gratification, not edification.

And yet, to switch from a great poet to an even greater, it was Shakespeare who called the noble and courageous few, “a happy few” and a “band of brothers”.

Is There Progress in Music?

As we know, the question of what progress is, and whether it exists at all, is a vexed one. This goes also for the arts, and specifically music. Music, particularly our Western classical tradition of music, certainly develops through time. The music of Wagner sounds very different from the music of Palestrina, and in turn the music of Stravinsky sounds very different from that of Wagner. But an important part of the question of “progress” (from Latin progredi, “to step forward”) is whether it implies improvement. Music and musical taste change and develop through time, surely. But does it progress, in the sense of getting better or greater?

The Two Faces of Originalism

Until recently, the originalist legal scholar John Eastman was an honored member of the Federalist Society. He chaired the society’s Separation of Powers Practice Group and was a frequent speaker at its meetings. Leonard Leo, co-chairman of the Federalist Society, donated to Eastman’s 2010 campaign for the attorney generalship of California.

Things changed after Eastman advised Donald Trump’s attempt to challenge the 2020 presidential election results. Eastman no longer chairs the Federalist Society practice group, and according to a statement from his employer, the Claremont Institute, he has been barred from discussing “essential constitutional questions” at the society’s meetings.

Economic Fascism and Biden’s Use of the Defense Production Act

Fascism, all in the name of national defense.

When President Joe Biden on Wednesday cited the Defense Production Act (DPA) as his authority to order an increase in baby-formula manufacturing (due to the recent national shortage), it was just the latest step in using the Cold War law to give the president carte blanche to control the economy of the United States in any way he sees fit.

No one disputes that the baby shortage is real and, for those directly affected by it — parents with infant children — a serious problem. But, as the federal government has misused the “commerce clause” found in the U.S. Constitution to expand its power and reach over the U.S. economy, using the Defense Production Act to order increased production of baby formula sets the precedent that the president — whoever that president might be at the time — can use the law to essentially rule in a dictatorial manner.

The national shortage of baby formula was directly caused by the federal government and, as is typically the case, the solution when the government causes a problem is, well, more government. A baby-formula manufacturing plant was closed — by the federal government — in Sturgis, Michigan, after four infants who consumed products made there got sick, and two died, of a bacterial infection.

Blaming the Constitution

Judge Andrew P. Napolitano

Within hours of the tragic killings of 10 Americans — nine Black and one white — in a Buffalo supermarket by a deranged white racist last week, the governor of New York began calling for infringements upon personal liberty. First, she argued that social media platforms were somehow liable for these killings since they provided a platform from which the killer could reinforce his hatreds and on which he could manifest them.

Then, she argued that hate speech and incendiary speech should be prosecuted. Finally, she attacked the U.S. Supreme Court, which is about to rule on a challenge to New York's restrictive concealed carry laws. She said twice that "New York is ready for you." It is unclear just what she meant, but the implication was that she'd find a way around whatever the court rules.

She uttered a bitter constitutional mouthful.

writings and mental history of the gunman, we know that he was and is deeply disturbed. Police brought him to a mental hospital after he made threats at school, and his hatreds were posted on dark websites. Nevertheless, New York gun laws — among the strictest in the country — did not stop him from lawfully purchasing a rifle and the ammunition with which to use it.

The Approaching Food Crisis Will Be a Catastrophe For Humanity

All modern famines are man-made, usually the result of war, disease, and stupidity. In 2022, all the elements necessary for a historic famine are present and in abundance, leading many experts to the conclusion that the food crisis that will be upon us shortly will be a catastrophe.

The Ukraine War is affecting the output of the second most important breadbasket in the world. Together, Russia and Ukraine supply “28% of globally traded wheat, 29% of the barley, 15% of the maize, and 75% of the sunflower oil,” according to The Economist.

"Russia and Ukraine contribute about half the cereals imported by Lebanon and Tunisia; for Libya and Egypt the figure is two-thirds. Ukraine’s food exports provide the calories to feed 400m people. The war is disrupting these supplies because Ukraine has mined its waters to deter an assault, and Russia is blockading the port of Odessa."

Half of American Infants Depend on the Welfare State

The baby formula shortage is a hard lesson about the inner workings of the federal government, and we should all pay attention. Beyond demonstrating the sheer ineptitude and ignorance of the Biden administration, this crisis has pulled the curtain back on a racket being run by the government at the expense of American taxpayers.

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children, better known as WIC, began as a pilot program in 1972 and went nationwide three years later. The program assists low-income mothers with infants and children under five and mothers-to-be at nutritional risk. Any mother whose household income is at or below 185% of the poverty line is eligible for this assistance, which comes in the form of direct aid to purchase healthy foods, including whole grain bread and cereal, fruits and vegetables, and, of course, baby formula.

The Real Three Mile Island Story

Following HBO’s award-winning miniseries on Chernobyl, Netflix creators have decided to take a shot at Three Mile Island. But they whiffed. Their documentary “Meltdown: Three Mile Island” misses completely the important lessons of TMI — and it comes at a time that we must give serious, well-informed consideration to building new nuclear plants.

We’ve been down this road before.

In March 1979, the blockbuster movie “The China Syndrome” debuted in theaters coast to coast. The provocative thriller, starring real-life activist Jane Fonda as a courageous TV reporter who saves the world from nuclear catastrophe, planted the obvious question in every viewer’s mind: “could that really happen?” The nuclear industry — of which I was a part — scoffed, calling it “fantasy.”

Bad answer. Three weeks later, the Three Mile Island accident shook us to our core.

Jordan Peterson’s Critique of Voluptuous Women Is Misplaced

Sports Illustrated is making headlines for its annual swimsuit edition again. This year, the magazine featured Yumi Nu, described as “the first plus-sized Asian American model” to make the cover of the swimsuit edition. The decision has garnered a great deal of positive press both for Nu and Sports Illustrated.

Not everyone was impressed, however. Dr. Jordan Peterson is a clinical psychologist, YouTube personality, professor emeritus at the University of Toronto and bestselling author of several books.

Peterson is a complex character — brilliant and unafraid to stand up to the worst excesses of contemporary culture, a trait that has earned him both widespread respect and equally vociferous loathing. (He has also suffered from depression and crippling anxiety — no doubt exacerbated by his frequent forays into contentious debates on the most hot-button issues of our time.)

Democrats Truly Are Evil

I really despise these people. That Democrats are desperate for anything to distract from their failures that they’re willing to lie, cheat and steal is nothing new, but the extent to which they’re taking it is simply vile. They are now blaming anyone who isn’t them for the murder of 10 people in Buffalo, essentially declaring half the country to be violent criminals. That’s evil, but still easier than defending Joe Biden’s record as President.

I don’t want to see those faces on TV and hate them. Chuck Schumer is ugly, sure, but he’s just a d-bag politician. Nancy Pelosi has had so much work done on her face that you almost pity her when you see her, if only for the energy she must exert to fully close her eyes. Biden was always dumb, but the more than sprinkling of dementia has amplified what God neglected to give him in the first place. They and their fellow travelers have always disgusted me, but now it’s beyond that. I simply can’t fathom how a decent human being could do the things they do.

If the American Empire Falls, Will the Republic Rise? - J. Robert Smith

It may prove in this momentous decade that the American Empire falls.  But take heart, because the fall of the empire — aren't all empires finally a bundle of conceits destined to collapse? — may lead to the revival of the American Republic.

The visions of empire and republic are as starkly different as George Washington and the founders were from Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson.  Much of what constitutes the "American Empire" is a product of progressive doctrine.  It was about domestic imperialism perhaps far more than American global dominance.  Restoring the republic should be welcomed by citizens dedicated to our nation's founding principles.

We're reaching a culmination.  The left's decades-long march through America's institutions succeeded.  They control government, corporations, health care, sciences, media, arts and entertainment, education, nonprofits, sports...right down to the Boy and Girl Scouts.

Take Up Running…For Your Local School Board

If you have the time, the grit, and the heart to make a difference serving on a board of education, you should run for your local school board.

Years ago, I was talking with three or four guys at a party in Asheville, North Carolina when one of them mentioned he was thinking of running for our local school board. “You better stock up on aspirin,” one of the other men commented. The prospective candidate never entered the school board race

.

Most of you reading these words are aware of the school board controversies that have erupted around the nation these last few years. Critical race theory, in-class programs teaching sex and gender to children as young as kindergarten, and sexually-explicit books read in class or featured by school libraries have caused explosions at some of these meetings. Other parents are upset that their kids are failing to learn even the basics like reading, writing, math, and American history.

Short of withdrawing their children from government schools, mom and dad often don’t know how to change the radical social agenda taught in some classrooms or how to help improve the curricula. Some protest, but I suspect most feel powerless, asking themselves, “What can we do?”

135+ Teachers, Aides Charged With

Child Sex Crimes

An analysis conducted by Fox News Digital looked at local news stories week by week featuring arrests of teachers and teachers’ aides on child sex-related crimes in school districts across the country. Arrests that weren't publicized were not counted in the analysis, meaning the true number may well be higher.

The analysis found that at least 135 teachers and teachers’ aides have been arrested in 41 states between January 1 and May 13, which works out to about an arrest a day on average.

The vast majority of the arrested educators were men. Of the 135 arrests, at least 102, or 76%, involved alleged crimes against students.

Many of the arrests involved especially heinous allegations.

Disney Launches ‘Pride’ Clothing Line for Kids

Disney launched a new LGBTQ “pride collection” clothing line for children on Monday, including several rainbow-colored t-shirts.

“The Disney Pride Collection was created by LGBTQIA+ employees and allies at The Walt Disney Company and is a reflection of their incredible contributions and place at the heart of the company,” Disney said in a statement. “We stand in solidarity with our LGBTQIA+ community everywhere.”

More Money, More Problems: Schools Struggle To Spend COVID Relief Funds

American schools have spent just 7 percent of the $122 billion in federal aid allocated to them under the American Rescue Plan.

Districts across the country are "struggling" to spend the money earmarked as part of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday. The Los Angeles Unified School District "has yet to spend a penny" of its more than $2.5 billion of relief funds, according to the Journal. And New York City Public Schools were "behind target" on spending coronavirus relief funds.

Schools can use relief payments to fund salaries and mental health services or purchase ventilators and personal protective equipment, which teachers' unions deemed a prerequisite for reopening during the pandemic. The American Rescue Plan earmarked 20 percent of school aid for programs to combat learning loss caused by remote learning. But schools are hesitant to hire more teachers, whose salaries they would have to cover when funding expires, and supply chain issues have made it hard to obtain ventilation systems and other equipment.

Some schools found creative ways to spend their relief funds.

Public Schools Force Unvaccinated Students To Stay Home—Even If They Test Negative

Public schools are forcing unvaccinated students to quarantine at home after COVID-19 exposures—even if they test negative, according to the Washington Examiner.

In Washington, D.C., New York City, Chicago, and other districts, schools bar students from classrooms for five days following a direct COVID exposure or a close contact with a COVID-positive person. To return to in-person learning, the students must test negative after the five-day quarantine and wear a mask for five more days in school.

Democratic officials and teachers' unions have advocated throughout the pandemic for remote learning and in-school mask mandates. But there is little evidence for the effectiveness of either policy. Children are at very low risk of severe illness or death from COVID-19. In-school transmission is also "extremely rare," according to an American Academy of Pediatrics peer-reviewed study.

Remote school has also been detrimental to learning. A Harvard study published in May found students who experienced remote learning in the 2020-2021 school year lost 50 percent of their typical math curriculum learning. Educational disparities were the worst for poor, black, and Latino students.

Radical Gender Ideology Is Still Spreading in Schools

Next fall, New Jersey public school students returning to school will receive lessons on transgenderism and gender identity. Under the new sex education guidelines, which go into effect in September, children as young as six will take classes titled “Pink, Blue, and Purple.” As part of the gender expansive programming, teachers can inform students that their gender is entirely up to them and may differ from the one assigned to them at birth. The K-12 curriculum also coaches teachers to tell students, “You might feel like you’re a boy even if you have body parts that some people might tell you are ‘girl’ parts.” With nearly half of kindergarten and first grade students failing to meet basic reading standards, states like New Jersey are spending critical instructional time on social and emotional learning (SEL) and on incorporating additional classes on gender identity.

Under Biden’s Title IX Changes, Wisconsin’s ‘Sexual Harassment’ Circus Over Trans Pronouns Would Ensnare Students In Every State

This is exactly the kind of routine hostility we can expect for students all over the country if Biden successfully writes ‘sexual orientation’ and ‘gender identity’ into the meaning of ‘sex’ in education.

Braden Rabidoux had no idea how his life was about to change when his mother got a call from his school principal. Braden, an eighth-grader in Wisconsin’s Kiel Area School District, was the subject of a sexual harassment complaint and investigation, the principal told her.

“I was like, ‘What? Sexual harassment? What are you talking about?'” Braden’s mom, Rose Rabidoux, recalled to The Federalist. “Because when I think of sexual harassment, I think of rape. I think of inappropriate touching.”

Fun New Subscription Service Sends You Updated Pride Flag Every Month

SAN FRANCISCO, CA—Citing the basic human need for allies to equitably show support for all oppressed categories, subcategories, microcategories, and nanocategories, a new subscription service has been announced that sends members an updated Pride flag every month.

Pride+ starts at $9.95 per month and includes additional fees for white, heterosexual males.

“The dangers of literally destroying oppressed communities by flying hateful, outdated Pride flags is as real as my vampire kitten quantum gender,” said Pride+ CEO Lucifer Scurfwilly, “Subscribing to Pride+ literally saves the lives of all non-cisnormative genders and orientations.”

Scurfwilly added that proceeds from Pride+ subscriptions would go directly to minorities working tirelessly to fabricate the flags in the communist utopia of Xinjiang Province.

At publishing time, the original rainbow colors were removed from the most recently-updated Pride flag to make room for all of the new colors and symbols.

UPDATE: Due to the update frequency of the Pride flag, Pride+ is now a weekly service.

UPDATE: OK it’s hourly now.

12 Tasks You Can Accomplish During Your Husband's Lengthy Bathroom Excursions

Ladies, if you really want to be a Proverbs 31 woman, you need to be a hard worker, clean the house, take care of the kids, and make lots of sandwiches. This means you need to make efficient use of your free time.

So, when your husband goes to the restroom, you know you've got hours on end to yourself to get stuff done. Here are a few simple tasks you can accomplish before his phone finally runs out of battery or his legs fall asleep and he decides to emerge.

1. Shiplap the entire house - Don't let a single square inch of regular wall remain.

2. Read your Bible. The whole thing - Genesis to Revelation. Add the Apocrypha if your husband is taking extra long this morning.

3. Watch all three Lord of the Rings movies - Extended editions, of course.

4. Make a sacred pilgrimage to Waco, Texas to pick up some home decor at Chip and Joanna Gaines's Magnolia Market - You'll be back with time to spare.

5. Write a novel - Your hubby will be so proud of you when he gets out of the bathroom.

Women Eagerly Buying Stocks Now That There's A Big Sale

CHERRY HILL, NJ—According to data analysts on Wall Street, as "timid beta-males" are selling off their stock portfolios in a panic over the tanking economy, women are coming out of the woodwork to snap up the cheap stocks now that everything is on sale.

“Hey Janie, did you see the price of Target stock?” asked Sissy Mixon excitedly to her friend over the phone. “It’s on sale for, like, 25% off! EEEEEE! I love Target!” Missy quickly hit buy on two shares of TGT at $304.92, so she could save even more money.

“Now that I own a piece of Target, every time I go shopping there I'm basically paying myself!” Missy explained to reporters.

According to sources on Wall Street, market recoveries are driven almost entirely by savvy housewives looking to snap up a bargain. "I don't really know what 'Riot Blockchain' is, but it's, like, 300% off! Whatever it is, I'm buying it!" Missy insiste

Missy's husband Sam tried to explain to her—as he always does—that buying things on sale doesn't constitute saving money. "She doesn't seem to get it," he said.

At publishing time, Sam threw another $1000 into Dogecoin as he knows it will hit $1.00 eventually.
