At Lee College our focus is to ensure students have the ideal educational experience. That is why the theme of this year's Fall Convocation is “You Belong." In our belief that we all are educators, we recognize that we all contribute to the student experience, and we should strive to make our students feel like they always belong. Fall Convocation runs Monday, Aug. 21 - Friday, Aug. 25. Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in various professional development workshops and meetings throughout the week.
The Student Services staff will be working extended hours leading up to the Fall 2023 semester which begins Monday, Aug. 28. The College will be open until 2:00 p.m., Friday, Aug. 25 and from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 26. Industry representatives, elected officials and community members gathered at the Lee College McNair Center on Monday, July 24 to cut the ribbon on its newly renovated, state-of-the-art, 11,000-square-foot Corporate Training Center. The Corporate Training Center offers hands-on training and leadership development for employees of all levels – from onboarding training for new hires to upskilling and solidifying skills of seasoned employees.
Lee College is serving up your 2023-24 Lady Navigators volleyball team. We would also like to welcome Erica Jimenez (center) to the team as its new coach. Jimenez, a San Antonio native, comes to us from Prairie View A&M where she was the assistant volleyball coach. The Lady Navigators have already kicked off the season, and their first home game is at 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 17 against Texas Southern University. You can view the 2023-24 season schedule here.
