I waited with great anticipation for the rain to fall today. The radar's storm started as a blob and now stretches over two states! Congrats, Mother Nature you have outdone yourself! The weathermen and women have done a great job preparing us for the worst-case-scenario, and now I find myself listening to a gentle rain on the chamber roof watching it down pour.

I am grateful for the rain this week. Front lawns are looking like August 15th as we wrap up the spring season here in Elkhorn. It will be nice to watch the scenery return to its proper shade of green, see the gardens begin to flourish and not have to worry about the following month's water bill.

Rain rejuvenates and refreshes the outdoors. It's a free car wash, a great place to dance, and it's the perfect ingredient for mud pies. No matter where you find yourself today, I hope you see the upside of all this rain. Keep your head up and when the storm clouds part, look for the rainbows!

Norman B. Barr Camp's mission is to provide a free, Christian-based summer camp experience for those in need that enriches lives through the enjoyment of God's gifts of nature, community, and faith. We invite to join us at this event and learn more about their programs.

Directions & Parking: From N. Lakeshore Drive to Ravinia Rd, Turn Right at Constance Blvd intersection and follow to the end. You will be parking in the paved lot at the end of Constance Blvd. (there will be signs). For guests who are unable to traverse a short walk down to the lake, we will have a golf cart shuttle. Please wear comfortable walking shoes or flats. Registration and check-in will be at the parking lot to provide adequate information. Thank you and we’ll see you there! 

This role combines front desk responsibilities with clinical support to ensure a smooth,

welcoming experience for every patient.

Responsibilities include:

 Greeting patients and managing check-in/check-out

 Scheduling appointments and answering phones

 Assisting Nurse Practitioner during patient visits

 Taking vitals and updating patient records

 Performing blood draws and handling lab specimens

 Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment
