Nashville, Tenn. (July 14, 2021) - “You’re It” the new music video from GRAMMY Award-winning singer/songwriter, Andrea Pearson, will have its broadcast premiere today on The Country Network in their “New Music Discovery” spotlight and an online premiere at Think Country.

Directed and produced by Pearson, the visually engaging video was filmed in the shadow of Cathedral Rock in Sedona. As the clip opens with an overhead drone shot of the stunningly beautiful area, it cuts to a scene of Pearson with her back to the camera before she walks and then dances exuberantly in front of the iconic rock outcrop that rises up from the desert floor to touch the sky behind her. It intercuts with contemplative moments of deep thought and of her hiking through the surrounding landscape. But the intense joy on her face is the highlight of the video as she emotes in her angelic voice about the thrill of how it feels to find real honest-to-goodness love.
Pearson explains in her own words, “After recording was finished for ‘You’re It’ in the studio, I began thinking about a video and started to imagine a landscape that was as wide-open and breathtaking as the feeling of falling in love. I recalled one of the most epic and spiritual places I had ever been, Sedona, Arizona. I wanted this video to capture the awe-inspiring beauty of the scenery there and really depict that joyful, free, ‘on top of the world’ feeling you get when you’re newly in love. The backdrop is Cathedral Rock, which I’ve climbed several times in the past and I must say, when you’re standing at the peak, you truly are ‘on top of the world.' We shot at sunrise, all in about two hours. Everything clicked so naturally and with such ease through this entire song from beginning to end. I can’t help but believe, when this happens, it’s just meant to be."
