2026 Visitor Guide Now Available

Think You've Done It All?

This Guide Says Otherwise.

The 2026 Manitowoc Two Rivers Visitor Guide is now available.

This guide is available in print and digitally online by clicking the button below.

Print guides can be picked up at all hotels and businesses throughout Two Rivers. In addition, copies are strategically distributed statewide and beyond at visitor information centers, key attractions and businesses.

This year’s guide continues to have a modern style, with a focus on engaging articles, expanded content, and beautiful photography that inspires visitors. The guide has fun new additions, including a page about things to do “Two Rivers and City of Manitowoc” and a “Snapshots from the Lakeshore” page, which features area photography submitted by talented residents and visitors.

“We hope the latest iteration of our annual editorial-style visitor guide inspires tourists to visit our many attractions, restaurants, boutiques and lodging establishments in both Manitowoc and Two Rivers,” said Visit Manitowoc Director of Tourism, Courtney Hansen. “Filled with beautiful photography and engaging content, this publication strengthens our marketing efforts with leisure travelers and travel planners.”

“The Visitor Guide is one of our most important tools for promoting the Lakeshore,” said Joseph Metzen, Explore Two Rivers Tourism Director. “It helps tell the story of our communities and connects visitors with the incredible experiences, businesses, and natural beauty that make this area special. We extend a sincere thank you to our advertisers for their continued support. Their partnership allows us to share our destination with a wider audience and strengthen tourism throughout the region.”

Terry Ehle Appointed as Next Library Director

A Thoughtful Transition in Leadership

The City of Two Rivers and Lester Public Library have an upcoming leadership transition following the retirement of long-time Library Director Jeff Dawson, effective July 3, 2026. Dawson has served the library for 19 years, guiding it through nearly two decades of growth, innovation, and community engagement.

The Library Board unanimously appointed longtime staff member Terry Ehle as the next Director of the Lester Public Library, effective July 6, 2026. Ehle has served the library for 27 years as Youth Services Coordinator and has spent the past year working closely with Dawson as part of a thoughtful succession plan.

Ehle holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Western Illinois University and a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She has received numerous professional honors, including Wisconsin Library Association Librarian of the Year (2024) and recognition as a Paul Harris Fellow by the Two Rivers Rotary Club in 2025.

The Library Board expressed its appreciation for Dawson’s years of service and confidence in Ehle’s leadership as the library continues to serve as a vital resource for the Two Rivers community.

We look forward to welcoming Terry Ehle as the next Library Director and wish Jeff years of happiness in his next chapters.

City Manager Kordell states, “Jeff Dawson’s nearly two decades of leadership have left the Lester Public Library stronger, more innovative, and deeply connected to the community it serves. At the same time, Terry Ehle’s appointment reflects a thoughtful and well-executed succession plan. Her decades of service, professional excellence, and collaborative approach position the library for continued success. On behalf of the City, I want to thank Jeff for his dedication and congratulate Terry as she steps into this well-deserved role.”
