Brampton Climate Program Announcement: Investing in a Greener Future

Recognized nationally on April 22, Earth Day was an opportunity to highlight Brampton’s leadership in sustainability. Throughout April, we celebrated local companies such as Canon Canada, G&W Electric Canada, Loblaw Companies Ltd., and Medtronic Canada ULC - recognized as Canada’s Greenest Employer for driving innovation through sustainable business practices. 

The Brampton Climate Program will provide opportunities for local organizations to advance their sustainability goals, leading Brampton to a lower carbon future.

Go Global Business Initiative 



The Global Business Centre will power Brampton’s Go Global initiative, which is designed to help Brampton-based small and medium-sized businesses scale, export and expand into new markets. 

Ontario Together Trade Fund

• Funding: Up to 75% of costs covered, max $2.5M grant.
• Eligibility: Ontario-based, for-profit businesses with 3+ years of operations.
• Focus: Projects that grow manufacturing and strengthen local supply chains.
• How to Apply: Two-step process - self-screener then full application.

Starter Company Plus Event

The Brampton Entrepreneur Centre celebrated the success of 35 local entrepreneurs through the Starter Company Plus Program. Each received $5,000 in funding to grow their small business.
