There is so much happening at the Playhouse this spring. Auditions, collaborations with others, a new Zoom play and auditions for summer production of FORTINBRAS. To say nothing of all the work we are still doing around the theater getting ready to welcome an audience as soon as we are allowed. Upgrades, updates and lots of cleaning and painting still happening! AND, a contest to create our NEW LOGO!

Take a look at all opportunities PACP have to offer. If you want to be in the audience, or get your tickets for Brancing Out, or help with a BIG wardrobe project or audition or to learn about backstage opportunities READ ON!

LIVE ON ZOOM - Branching Out
A one-act Zoom play that redefines what it means
to be a loving family in the Pandemic Age.
by Jayne Morgan
Directed by Mark Valentine

Our upcoming Zoom show has moments of humor involving a Southern family learning that they have a new blood relative. It is a new play, written specifically for Zoom, but it is also current in continuing the discussion of how families are adapting to change. Be prepared to discuss this play with your friends. We hope it will be the kind of show that will cause you to laugh and then realize, "Oh, my goodness!" all these funny people still have what it takes to grow into new relationships.

The Story is set largely in Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee, with one family member Zooming from Atlanta.

Check our facebook page for a video message from the Director, Mark Valentine. https://www.facebook.com/watch/PACommunityPlayers/

LOGO CONTEST
Check below for details regarding logo design, contest rules & submission requirements.

The object of this contest is to design a logo for The Port Angeles Community Players located in Port Angeles, WA. The PACP are blessed to have been around since 1952 and has been in our current location since 1971! Our history is important to us, but we are producing modern plays as well. Can't wait to see what our creative community comes up with!

Training For Back Stage Opportunities

It's time to start thinking about getting back to theater! Our friends at Olympic Theater Arts in Sequim are making it easier for all of us to get trained in something we've always wanted to learn about.

The venue may be different but the skills will translate to either of our respective theaters.
You can learn about any of the back stage positions.

I don't know much about lighting a play, so I've signed up for that one. Signing up is easy and it's free. Come join me. Barb Frederick, PACP Board President

Auditions for FORTINBRAS
Auditions will be held Saturday, May 8th at the P.A. Community Playhouse for the upcoming Summer Shakespeare in the Park(ing) Lot production of Lee Blessing’s Fortinbras, the comedic “sequel” to Hamlet. The comedic continuation of the greatest play in the English language is a long time dream come true for the Playhouse.
