Convocation 2019: Becoming Beloved Community Together

This
free
intergenerational day of celebration will invite us to respond to the call to follow Jesus and seek ways to discover the image of God in all our neighbors. This gathering will be an opportunity to spend time building relationships and learning how to work toward Beloved Community in your parish and community.

Becoming Beloved Community Youth Retreat
|
|
Youth in Southern Ohio have a special opportunity to engage with the diocese’s Beloved Community learning theme at Convocation in May. Youth in 6-12th grades are invited to Procter Friday, May 10 for a one-night retreat before attending Convocation on Saturday. This Retreat is an opportunity to meet youth from other churches, have fellowship and fun, grow and learn together about the Becoming Beloved Community project. Leaders from Beloved Beloved Community will join us for a workshop Friday night. We’ll have time to sing and make music, play games and eat snacks, and have a campfire. Saturday, youth can explore Convocation and hang out in the “youth tent,” as they wish. For more information and to register:

Camp Open House
Save May 4 on your calendar for our
Camp Open House
. You are encouraged to invite friends from church, school, or your neighborhood who you’d like to introduce to Procter.
This event is an opportunity for first time campers to see cabins, get comfortable with our staff and property, and mingle with folks who love Procter. Current camper and counselor alumni are especially invited to come share the good news that is camp!
Weather permitting, the slab will be open for games, chalk or arts and crafts. Tours with staff members will begin at 11a.m. and 1 p.m., and families are welcome to tour the grounds independently as well.
