on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 10:15 a.m.

, performed by members of Opera Columbus
11:15 a.m.: Reception and Conversation with the Performers
The Voice of Freedom,
an abridged version of Opera Columbus’ renowned program “The Journey: Civil Rights,” celebrates African-American cultural history through song. St. John’s has set aside a Sunday when parishioners and guests have the opportunity to reflect and pray about the legacy of the enslavement of blacks in the United States – a legacy that stretches back 400 years.
St. John's is located at 700 High Street in Worthington. A voluntary, freewill offering collection will occur during the performance. All contributions will be used by St. John’s to support this programming.

Summer Camp Staff at Procter
Hiring for summer staff is here! Summer camp is a magical time for campers and counselors. We hope that students who have at least one year of college completed will consider spending the summer at Procter as a Camp Counselor.
An excerpt from “
Can I Really Spend Another Summer Working at Camp?”, by Leah Mesches. The answer is yes… Summer camp is a place for continued growth and learning, whether you are a camper or a counselor, a first-year staff member, or a three-year veteran.
If you’re a college student and you’ve worked at a summer camp, you probably know what it’s like to be a part of a community where you are valued, empowered to be creative, and held accountable as you work long days. You have been stretched, and you know what it means to do a job with purpose. You have practiced skills at camp that are the same skills needed in a more traditional, future workplace (for instance: communication, leadership, critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and work ethic). You know how it feels to put all of your energy into your work, and you have likely never worked this hard in any other job. You can survive with little to no personal space, minimum sleep, and somehow every story you tell still starts with “this summer, at camp . . . "
Don’t delay, apply to today and bring a friend. Procter is a magical place where you will learn so much about yourself and your relationship with God.
We are also hiring a Seasonal Camp Director!
If you are passionate about creating a safe, fun environment for kids to connect to God and each other, then you should apply to lead our camp this summer. We are an ACA accredited camp, and our camp director must have at least two years of supervisory experience and be at least 25 years old. For more information and how to apply, contact Executive Director, Amy Boyd, at
aboyd@proctercenter.org.
Other positions at Procter Center
Another position that we are hiring for is a year-round part-time cook. Please email Amy Boyd if you are interested in learning more about this position. Learn more about all available positions at
