Assisting the victims of Dayton tornadoes

Twenty-one tornadoes struck west central Ohio on May 27-28. The hardest hit neighborhoods were in the Dayton area; Trotwood and parts of Montgomery County were struck by an EF4 tornado, while Beavercreek, Celina and parts of Greene and Mercer Counties suffered damage from two EF3 tornadoes. Volunteer opportunities Declare Worship Community has created a site with various volunteer opportunities for faith communities. Two specific items: All are invited to join one of two engagement meetings on Thursday, June 27 to discuss housing support and a school supply project through Crayons to Classrooms. Meetings will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. or 2 to 3:30 p.m. at 1750 Woodman Drive in Dayton. Executive Council adopts vaccination policies The Executive Council has adopted policies for vaccination standards within Episcopal institutions and programs; including that all participants and staff participating are vaccinated in accordance with the CDC Immunization Schedule or state law.
