Open Zoom calls with Bishop Price this week
Bishop Price
A note from Bishop Ken Price:
During the time I have been serving as your bishop, I have tried to keep in regular touch via Zoom calls. This week will be my last calls before stepping away from this position. They are both open to clergy and laity combined, and will take place on May 19 at 1 p.m. and May 20 at 10 a.m. Any clergy or lay person can register for either call by clicking on the links below.

Registration links:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

The topic for our last call is Compassion Fatigue. In your confirmation email for the Zoom meeting I have shared some resources regarding how we can be supportive as we re-engage ministry post-COVID and how we, as pastoral caretakers, can cope with issues raised during the past year. I hope in our discussion time those folks on the call will share how they and their church are handling life at this time. It will also be a time to allow people from all corners of the diocese to touch base with one another. I hope to see many of you then.

Campus Ministry Grants
Campus Ministry grants for the 2021-22 program year are due no later than June 25, 2021. The grant application can be found on the diocesan website under Financial Assistance.

All those who receive Campus Ministry grant funds are required to participate in the Campus Ministry Collaborative, which consists of representatives of the campus ministries in the Diocese of Southern Ohio. The Collaborative meets once a year in person at Procter Center and additional times via video conference. If you are applying for the first time, you will be asked to join the video conference meeting on July 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. to discuss your grant request and listen to the others.

Photos needed
Our diocesan website relies on quality, interesting images to keep the site new and fresh. We incorporate several pictures from around the diocese in sliders on both the home page and most interior pages.

Send in your photos! We're looking for some fresh images of Episcopalians doing stuff in their communities or closeups of elements of our beautiful worship spaces. Photos shot on mobile devices are acceptable, with the following conditions: Photos need to be high resolution (send at largest original size) and shot in landscape orientation (that means turn your phone sideways!). Send photos to Julie Murray at
