The convention voted overwhelming to adopt changes to our canons that will allow Southern Ohio to join a regional compact of dioceses to form a regional disciplinary board for Title IV matters. If the Diocese of Ohio votes this weekend to also join the compact, these changes will take place on January 1, 2021.

Bishop Breidenthal drew the winning entry to the Connect the Dots initiative at convention. Congratulations to Christ Church, Springfield, for winning $1,000 to use for outreach ministry. Christ Church will now be able to select one of the churches they visited to also receive $1,000. Stay tuned to see which church they choose!

The annual St. Alban's, Bexley Trot is a 5K run and 2K family run/walk. The family oriented event donates race proceeds to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank to help fight hunger in Central Ohio.
This year’s race will be held virtually. All participants will have the opportunity to run their own course of desired distance (5K or 2K walk/run) during the the week of Thanksgiving. Cincinnati-based recording artists will release a collection of well-loved Advent and Christmas hymns along with nine scripture readings from the traditional Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. Contributors include Turtledoves, Michael Andrew, Brianna Kelly, Stephen Patota, Kim Taylor, Ellery, Adam Peterson, Brooklynn Hansley, and Bailey Miller. This project will be streamable and downloadable via Bandcamp on December 12, 2020.
