Festival of Faiths
The 2nd annual Festival of Faiths, Cincinnati's celebration of interfaith understanding and collaboration, will be held this Sunday, September 8 from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at the Cintas Center at Xavier University.

Volunteers are needed at the DSO/Christ Church Cathedral booth at the festival. Click here if you would like to volunteer at this great event, featuring more than 100 faith-based exhibits, music, workshops, art and more. Learn more about the Festival of Faiths here.

Grants available to hunger ministries

The  Hunger Network in Ohio  is partnering with others to help our neighbors be registered to vote in 2019! As people of faith, we are called to love our neighbor. What better way to say you love somebody than asking their opinion about our world!

We are offering $200 mini-grants to hunger ministries and others who will commit to registering 25 people to vote . If you host a community meal or food pantry and wish to apply for one of these grants, contact the Rev. Canon Lee Anne Reat IMMEDIATELY at  lareat@diosohio.org .

As part of their Becoming Beloved Community initiative, Church of the Redeemer, Hyde Park, will offer a 10-part film-and readings-based dialogue series developed by The Episcopal Church called Sacred Ground. Second Tuesdays, begins Oct. 8.

Music Live@Lunch is Christ Church Cathedral’s weekly concert series. Free concerts are presented on Tuesdays at 12:10 p.m. Patrons may bring their own lunch or purchase lunch at the cathedral.

Taylor Branch
The cathedral is pleased to host Pulitzer Prize winner, historian, and MacArthur grant recipient Taylor Branch as Taft Lecturer on Monday, October 21 at 7 p.m. Branch is best known for his trilogy of books chronicling the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. and much of the history of the American Civil Rights Movement. No admission fee, but tickets are required.

  • Submissions for e-Connections should be limited to short announcements. Items can be sent as text in an email, or an attached Word document.
