Support Local Nature: Volunteer with Love Your Block! 🌻🌱

The City of Long Beach's Love Your Block program and the Long Beach Public Library invite you to join two special events focused on native wildflowers. Learn how you can help pollinators, grow neighborhood greenery, and protect our environment for the future!

Volunteer Seed Packing:

📅 Monday, August 31

⏰10:30 AM–12:30 PM

📍 Harte Library

Pack native seeds with us at Harte Public Library in West Long Beach!

Seed packets will be distributed at the 9/8 event.

Storytime & Seed Packets:

📅 Tuesday, September 8

⏰11:30 AM–12:30 PM

📍 Harte Library

Join us for a hands-on native seed education activity connected to a plant- and nature-themed story time session for youth. Participants will also have an opportunity to explore the library’s Seed Library and check out more seeds.

Native seed packets are available while supplies last.
