The local non-profit Help Me Help You provides nutritious, fresh, and pre-packaged Food Pantry delivery services to eligible clients.
Eligible senior residents and persons with disabilities (physical or mental) can qualify for Food Pantry items delivered straight to their doorsteps. This service is for those residing in the City of Long Beach and the surrounding area, including delivery to cities within a 10-mile radius of 90813.
This program is a lifeline for seniors and disabled individuals facing food insecurity. The tailored Food Pantry Delivery Program provides nutritious and healthy food options. Services are available up to four times per month for a delivery fee of $10 for each delivery.
The nutritious selection of Food Pantry items includes food from all 5 food groups, including fresh fruits and vegetables, shelf-stable, refrigerated, and frozen food items. Delivery items cater to the following dietary options:
- Diabetes-friendly
- Heart-healthy
- Vegetarian
- Gluten-free
