KABBALAT SHABBAT
This in-person service will also have Zoom access.

Please join Rabbi Sharfman, second-year Rabbinical student and Cantorial soloist Erica Erman, and Cantorial soloist Scott Leader, as we welcome Shabbat. November birthdays and anniversaries will be blessed.

We encourage you to attend services in person. Zoom will be available to those who are out of town or can’t physically attend.

Masks are no longer required. The first few rows of the sanctuary will be reserved for mask wearers. The reserved rows are for those who feel safer sitting next to other mask wearers. Otherwise, mask wearers may sit anywhere in the sanctuary.

We look forward to welcoming Shabbat with you!

Young families: We know services often end too late for your little ones.
Please feel free to come, stay to light candles at the beginning of services, and leave whenever you need to.
Erica and Jared Erman's videos for Shabbat candle lighting, Kiddush, and Motzi

Thank you to Erica and Jared for welcoming us in their home. Erica mentions some of the reasons we have two loaves of challah on Shabbat, to which we add that there are two commandments regarding Shabbat in the Torah: Shamor (Keep Shabbat) and Zachor (Remember Shabbat).

We hear these in L'cha Dodi, too, when we learn that these two commandments were given in one breath!
