MESSAGE FROM GMAR CHAIRWOMAN
COURTNEY STEFANIAK
Despite 2020's personal & professional challenges, it proved to be a great year for real estate. I'm proud to be part of an industry and an association that banded together to help others during an unprecedented year.
I hope everyone is feeling refreshed and ready for the new year ahead.

2021 should continue with historically low interest rates- encouraging many homebuyers to enter or re-enter the market and inventory levels still seem to be struggling.

January is a great time to set goals for yourself and your business. Write them down and make sure they are specific and attainable.

Get ready for another robust year in real estate!

I look forward to serving as your 2021 Chairwoman.
THANK YOU FOR BEING INVOLVED WITH RPAC/DIRECT GIVER
Whether they had election fatigue or not, REALTORS® again showed they were paying attention and were fully engaged in politics. 2020 was a record breaking year for RPAC/Direct Giver fundraising. Thank you to the many members who were involved in the fall elections and to those who contributed to RPAC and supported candidates of their choice through the Direct Giver Program.

Our legislative success on the local, state and national level is because REALTORS continue to engage in elections.

If you are interested in supporting a candidate at the local, state or national level in the future, consider running that contribution through the Direct Giver Program. Click here for more information or contact Marne Stuck by email or call 414-778-4929.

'RE-ORIENT YOURSELF' : YOUTH FOUNDATION
Brush Up on What You Learned at Orientation
Whether you are a brand new REALTOR® just starting out or have been in the business for years, it never hurts to check back in on the basics and make sure you are taking full advantage of your membership.
The Youth Foundation is managed by the Greater Milwaukee Association of REALTORS® and has a history that is deeply immersed in the real estate industry here in the Metro Milwaukee area. The Youth Foundation roots begin in 1951 when REALTOR® and local builder Arthur Richards developed the Wisconsin and Maryland Hotels, the Marshall Hall Apartments, and the Empire Building. As his success grew in the construction and development business, so did passion for youth and the challenges that they face. Arthur’s commitment to youth became a continual benefit when upon his death he willed a portion of his assets to be given to the Greater Milwaukee Association of REALTORS®. Arthur’s instructions for his gift was that it be used only to help children and young adults through age twenty-five in the areas of Education, Social Services, and the Arts.

If you would like to get more involved with the Youth Foundation please contact Scott Bush.
