We are entering the Holiday season when the market usually slows down. But not this year. There are reports of a strong late fall market here, and all over the country. I hope we can all celebrate Thanksgiving with our families and not at a showing!
I would like to welcome the new and returning members to the GMAR Board of Directors. Congratulations to old friends Judy Hearst and Angela Walters, and new friends Tom McCormick and Suzanne Head. Their terms begin January 1st and run for three years.
Don’t wait to sign up for the GMAR’s annual Holiday Gala on Wednesday, December 1st. It’s back and will be better than ever! In addition to swearing in our new leadership team, we will be recognizing some truly amazing members:

Finally, the GMAR is once again holding a coat drive for the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative (MHVI). New or used clean coats for men, women, and children are needed. Anna C. Severance, a beloved realtor from West Bend, passed away on October 16, 2021. Anna was a loving mother and had so much love for her two beautiful girls, Aveya and Milena. She cherished them more than anything in this world. The Anna Severance Motherhood legacy Trust will hold assets for the health, maintenance, support, and education of Anna's daughters Aveya and Milena. This will assist in fulfilling Anna’s dreams and goals for her children.

To continue your membership with the GMAR, WRA & NAR, and to avoid any interruption in service, please note the following payment deadlines:

Between November 1 and 30, 2021 - Please pay the total shown on your invoice

Between December 1 and 31, 2021 - Please ADD $50 to the total shown on your invoice

After January 1, 2022 - We must treat you as a new member, please ADD $225 to the total on your invoice (if you are a REALTOR® member) or $345 (if you are a Designated REALTOR® member).
In 2022 we will continue to pursue our mission of "Helping our members help their clients," through our core services of government affairs, professional standards, and MLS services.

Wisconsin Realtor Foundation
In addition, to its partnership with Feeding Wisconsin, the WRF provides financial support for relief efforts in response to natural disasters in Wisconsin. The WRF segregates a certain amount of funds raised through voluntary contributions on membership renewal dues forms to aid families and children impacted by natural disasters in Wisconsin.
REALTORS® throughout Wisconsin should be proud to help these families in need. WRF chairman Mike Spranger encourages every member to keep the voluntary $20 contribution to the WRF on the dues statement so REALTOR® relief efforts like these can continue.

What Have Your RPAC Dollars Accomplished So Far This Year? |

This summer, Gov. Evers and the Wisconsin legislature approved $225 million for broadband expansion in Wisconsin — the largest appropriation for broadband expansion in state history. This funding will generate huge improvements that will connect Wisconsin residents and businesses all across the state.
Thanks to your contributions to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), the WRA and RPAC helped to pave the way for improved broadband access in Wisconsin.
