SentriLock and One-Day Codes
We are getting feedback from members that many agents out there are still requesting one-day codes from the listing agents of properties that utilize the SentriLock lockbox system. Please keep in mind that a one-day code can be denied to any agent.

The GMAR Board of Directors came to an agreement that listing brokers do not have to give out one day codes, if that is what they agreed upon with the seller. The Directors do not believe that accessing a listing with a SentriLock box places an unreasonable burden on any showing/buyer’s agent, because obtaining SentriLock credentials is extremely easy. Members can now get their credentials virtually by emailing Emily Simonelli .

If the showing/buyer’s agent does not have access to SentriLock credentials, but is a REALTOR® (i.e. a member of the Commercial Board), the Association encourages GMAR members to give them access via a one-day code. Additionally, in most cases, the GMAR will allow non-member REALTORS® to pay the SentriLock fee without becoming a member of the GMAR.

Coronavirus: SBA CARES Act FAQs
NAR has been working closely with Congress and the Administration to ensure the interests of REALTORS® and their clients are protected in any federal action in response to COVID-19. Many REALTORS® are small businesses, or work with them as clients. In the most recent relief package passed into law, the "Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act" or CARES Act, there were significant provisions aimed at assisting small businesses during this difficult time. The CARES Act appropriates more than $360 billion total for new Small Business Administration (SBA) programs - the 7(a) Paycheck Protection Program loans and the Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) advance grants program.

GMAR Call to Action
The GMAR is teaming up with the SE WI Emergency Support Group to provide home-cooked meals and personal care items to those in need, and WE NEED YOUR HELP!

GMAR member Rochelle Gamauf started the volunteer effort 10 weeks ago. Rochelle and her team of volunteers have cooked hundreds of meals, purchased personal care items, and delivered them to dozens of families, the elderly, and others in the metropolitan area.

This Friday they will do it again! Cooking, packing, and delivering a weeks worth of meals and other supplies to those in need. Their list of those who need their help is growing daily.

You can help in 2 ways:

1.   Make a donation on their Go Fund Me page . They’re at $3,857 toward their $7,500 goal. Proceeds are being used to upgrade their operation from volunteers’ kitchens to the commercial kitchen at the Waukesha County Expo Center.
2.   Purchase some of the items on this list and take them to one of the drop-off locations:

  • GMAR Office, 12300 W. Center Street, Wauwatosa (1 mile west of Mayfair Mall) – 8:30AM to 5:00PM
  • Chiropractic Partners, 1720 Dolphin Dr., Suite E, Waukesha, WI 53186 – 8:30AM to 5:00PM
