Free Tenant Rights Workshop to Teach Fair Housing Rights & Responsibilities

The Fair Housing Foundation will be holding a Tenant Rights Workshop at the Neighborhood Resource Center at 100 W. Broadway #550, Long Beach, CA 90802 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm on Thursday, March 21, 2019. This workshop is free and open to the public. Attendees will learn about how they are protected under fair housing laws, what their rights and responsibilities as tenants are, and how to deal with tenant-landlord disputes. A housing counselor will also be on hand to answer any questions from participants.

HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency
HPP CARES is a HUD approved housing counseling agency located and servicing the Long Beach communities. Rental Housing Counseling Workshop
Founded in 1964, the Fair Housing Foundation (FHF) is a private, non-profit, non-partisan educational agency dedicated to promoting the enforcement of fair housing laws and encouraging an atmosphere of open housing through education, enforcement activities, counseling services, and outreach programs. The Fair Housing Foundation is an approved HUD Housing Counseling Affiliate. We are contracted with cities throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties to provide Fair Housing services. Fair Housing Foundation serves over 10,000 clients annually through our programs.

PACS provides mental health services to MediCal eligible children, adults and families who meet medical necessity. PACS strives to have a diversity of bilingual staff in Asian and Pacific Islander languages as well as Spanish.

The Midtown Neighborhood Association serves the area north of Anaheim St., between Anaheim and the Pacific Coast Hwy.

CNAC meets the second Wednesday of every month at 4:00pm at Burnett Library at 560 E Hill Street.
The Midtown Business Improvement District (BID) is not a neighborhood association, but a district created to promote and market the Anaheim Street commercial corridor. Its members are all business or property owners along Anaheim, who work together to promote commerce and community partnerships.
