President's Message

Fall is upon us and we hope that everyone had a great start to this school year! Here at N-SSBA we are in full swing as well.

We appreciate that so many of you attended the annual N-SSBA Resolutions Dinner Meeting recently in preparation for NYSSBA's Virtual Annual Business Meeting. We look forward to connecting with many more of you in NYC for NYSSBA's Annual Convention & Expo later this month.

We have many exciting events and opportunities coming up this year and we encourage you to attend.

This edition of N-SSBA Newsline will tell you a little more about some of them. There is always much to learn and discuss in the ever changing landscape of education.

We appreciate your continued engagement of our efforts to support and serve you.

TO OUR ASSOCIATION

2024 Resolutions Dinner

For the second year in a row, we had a full house at the annual resolutions dinner. We had over 160 registrants from 47 different member districts, and in addition to Board members who attended we had over 20 Superintendents and other school officials in attendance.

Led by Middle Country School District Board President, Dawn Sharrock, the attendees reviewed and discussed the 37 resolutions that will be voted on at NYSSBA's Virtual Annual Business Meeting on 10/10/24.

Of the 37 proposed resolutions, the majority in attendance recommended 23 for adoption.

We want to thank our event sponsors, A+ Technology and Security, T-Mobile for Education, and our Strategic Partner Sponsor SCOPE Education Services. Click on the above links for more information about their services.
