Julie Emerson, a bill that will prohibit postsecondary institutions from withholding a student’s academic transcript for debt collection purposes.

This bill has broad bipartisan support including: One Acadiana, GNO Inc, LABI, Louisiana Budget Project, the Pelican Institute, CABL, the UL System, LCTCS, and the Louisiana Board of Regents.
