Thank you to everyone who testified during Monday’s redistricting hearing and to those who have contacted the Maryland Citizens Redistricting Commission about the importance of having St. Mary’s County together in a single Senate district. Today, the Commission released new draft proposals that keep St. Mary’s together. While this is not a final plan, it shows that your voice mattered in this process and that the Commission heard our concerns.
I am proud to have worked with Delegate Morgan and excited to see that so many members of our community were involved to show the Redistricting Commission the importance of keeping St. Mary's County united. It is my honor to represent such a wonderful District that is able to accomplish so much when working together!
