TTC monthly news & updates
October 2018
President's Message
It has been a rough couple of weeks for everyone to get their training done and then with changes to the race calendar. But, nowhere near as rough as it has been for our friends and neighbors in Eastern North Carolina. Perspective is important!
Meanwhile, the beat goes on, and we had a large group of club members at IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta and locally at the Rex Knightdale Sprint. There are a couple of pictures at the bottom of this newsletter from those races.
Planning, planning and more planning. The TTC board is planning activities for a strong finish for this season and getting a head start for next season. We will be having a full day planning session in November. If you have anything that you would like to see the club do differently next year, please send me a note with your input. We will also be doing a club wide survey.

A Message from T3 Tri Coaching
Just because the season is starting to wind down it doesn’t mean it’s time to rack your gear and get ready for winter. This is a great time to start assessing how your season went and planning for next year.
Get a jump on next season by investing in yourself. Off season strength training and good endurance base building will give you the edge. Start thinking about your next year’s goals and races. Setup your fall and spring races now to help you build to a successful summer.
If you want to get a head start into next year’s racing season, don’t under estimate how a coach can help you learn and progress. Learn more at or give me a call.

You're doing it! Whether you are a beginner or an elite athlete, you're doing it. Putting in the hours. Perfecting your craft. Keep it up! Want to know something crazy?

It is August! How in the world is it already August?

Here in Texas (home of 2Toms), we experience our hottest days in August, just like North Carolina. For our Triathletes, this is the month that chafing can really take a toll. Add sweat, salt from sweat, and repetitive skin rubbing ... and you have a recipe for pain. It's YOUR CHOICE to keep getting chafed. Promise. It is. How do I know? 2Toms is one of our brands that has a cult-like following. 2Toms SportShield Anti-Chafe is a heralded product amongst elite runners, ultrarunners, and triathletes.

Why? Because it doesn't wear off. You put it on once and it stays through sweat, through water, through the hours. You can find rave reviews about 2Toms SportShield and 2Toms ButtShield (cycling) all across the web. We believe in it so much we want to give you a FREE SAMPLE so you can believe it for yourself! Keep up the hard work and don't get sidelined from preventable injuries. More of our rehab, stretching, and injury prevention brands at
