Dear Lycée Families,

I would like to update you on the first day of school and on the measures we took in order to reach resolution on the bus transportation issues.

First of all, thank you for an awesome first day. Students and teachers were happy to begin their day together. The abundance of smiles, hugs, flowers, and cards made it even more special. Chocolate made it sweeter! Your thoughtfulness and that of your children is heartwarming.

The buses: after a very slow and schedule-inconsistent day one, we regrouped to revise time sheets and pickup/drop off locations. We met with the representative of Kids 1st bus company for a few hours today, and they have been receptive to our needs and suggestions. We looked at routes, revisited some, we looked at schedules and pick up times, and made changes, and we also looked into case specific issues that had to do with the safety of our students, and resolved them as well. Kids 1st will release the new routes to us by this evening so we can update them again on our website. We plan to have a smoother bus service starting tomorrow, however we should still expect some minor hiccups until all operations normalize by the end of next week. This is of utmost importance to you, but know that it is our priority as well. Please visit the section of Etre below to access updated rosters.

Thank you, always, for your support and understanding.
