Polar Express - Fri. Dec. 18 - For ALL Patton Students |

We are excited for our Polar Express Day on Friday, December 18th, 2020. Your child is welcomed to wear school appropriate pajamas. While we want to give students the freedom to choose their pajama outfits, there are reasonable dress expectations. Students may not wear spaghetti-strap tank tops or clothing with advertisements, political messages, or vulgar words. Please follow the uniform code for clothing and shoes. All shoes must be closed-toe. The class will be reading the Polar Express, and completing crafts. Unfortunately, parents will not be able to volunteer to assist with our Polar Express, due to COVID restrictions this year.

Vision & Hearing Screening - January 12, 2020 |

The New Orleans Speech and Hearing Center will be performing annual vision and hearing screenings for 1st grade students and any missed screening PreK and Kindergarten students. |

We have researched best practices and after care successes and struggles at other schools during covid-19. We will continue to monitor citywide trends, and continue to ensure our Extended Day practices are in line with Lycée's academic safety protocols. We will reassess in January the extent to which and when we will offer after school programming (after care, enrichment, athletics). |

This is a reminder to be patient and cautious during morning and afternoon carpool. Please follow all traffic and parking ordinances, and above all, be courteous to neighbors by allowing them easy access to and from their homes and avoid blocking driveways. During carpool, all cars should move to either side of the street to allow other cars to pass on Constance Street. We all have a responsibility to keep our children and each other safe. |

Prix de Présence, A Holiday Prize Affair
La Liaison is excited to announce the Winter Fundraiser Prix de Presence, a Holiday Prize Affair. This event will take the place of the annual Marche D'Hiver. The virtual fundraising event is scheduled for Saturday 19-December. It will include a day filled with virtual musical performances, demonstrations, and a chance to win an assortment of door prize baskets. Parents and families stay tuned to the Liaison Facebook group for details on the event.
Entry to the virtual event is $5, and includes 5 complimentary entries to win a door prize basket. Additional door prize tickets will be available for purchase at $1 per ticket in our Shopify store. Entry into the virtual event will give you access to a private Facebook group, where throughout the day there will be virtual live performances and demonstrations.
