SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Dear Parents and Guardians,

During this time of year we tend to see an escalation of flu and flu related illnesses. This year is no different. Please know that our custodial staff is putting in place a “Flu Plan Procedure” at both facilities. We are ensuring disinfection of hard surfaces including, handrails, door knobs, and light switches. We are also targeting any surfaces a student may touch in the hallways such as doors (inside and out), benches, water fountain knobs, etc. We also remind our students to wash their hands before lunch and use hand sanitizer when needed. Please help us by reminding your child/children to sneeze or cough into their elbow (in the absence of tissues), to wash hands often and to try to avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. Working together, we will beat the season! Thank you for your support.

Spirit Week! - NEXT WEEK
We are so excited to announce that from January 28-February 1 , the Johnson Campus will have their very first Spirit Week! Spirit Week will also be a part of our kicking off the year with Kindness. All students at the Johnson Campus are invited to participate in this very fun event. Please dress the part, and show your school spirit and support for kindness at Lycee!

Monday: Matchie Monday
Match an outfit, hairstyle or just a smile with a group of your peers! Make sure to match up and perform an act of kindness together too!

Tuesday: Pajama Day
No need to change, just get out of bed and come to school in your favorite pj's. Leave the morning grumpiness at home and bring cheer to a classmate with a smile!

Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday
Dress in your wackiest outfit and pair it with your wackiest hairstyle. Be proud of who you are and give a compliment to a classmate’s unique style.

Thursday: Throwback Thursday
Go back in time and dress as your favorite punk rocker, poodle girl, or any other blast from the past. Being mean is a thing of the past, kindness is our present and future! Name your New Year’s resolution for Kindness.

Friday: Frenchie Friday
Wear your favorite navy stripes and red berets! Make sure to give our French staff a kind “merci" for all they do!

*Costumes, outfits, hairstyles and accessories should be appropriate for school wear. No short skirts, shorts or crop tops allowed.
